My very first Stella & Dot party was held last weekend. We had an absolute blast! It was a hot day and our lovely host, my mom, was so excited for everyone to see her new deck furniture and beautiful flowers. Unfortunately, no one wanted to be outside! Air conditioning, food, and jewelry kept all the ladies inside the house. The turn-out was nice, but not what we were expecting. Summer parties are very difficult due to vacations, graduations, showers, etc. I found this out first hand each summer as my birthday party would be planned and the guest list would dwindle. In any case, it turned out to be a great party. Our summer brunch consisted of some punches, salads, and desserts. The piece de resistance was, of course, the jewelry. We spent hours trying things on and had so much fun. Needless to say, it was a success and the business is up and running at full steam.
