California Sun

Our trip to California was very nice. We were fortunate enough to stay in a completely empty home that was for sale. We had beautiful views each evening overlooking the San Francisco Bay area! On Tuesday we drove to Monterrey and enjoyed 17 mile drive together. What a great afternoon. Jim definitely enjoyed his first trip to the Monterrey area. He wanted to play every golf course he saw! Hopefully we'll have other opportunities to go back and visit again.

Wow, Stonebrae was beautiful. At least the spectators thought so! The course was very interesting, some crazy golf holes. The weather wasn't too cooperative all week either. Our golfing week began with a three hour delay for heavy fog. Later that day came 30 mile an hour winds with temps in the 50's. Simply poor golfing weather. This week I began training for the Darrell survey - a survey of the players equipment every Thursday. It's challenging but fun, and I've certainly learned a whole lot more about golf equipment. Needless to say the golf wasn't the best part of the week, but we certainly enjoyed our time in Cali!
